Unit 3 Project: Courag March 19, 2012 Cour eon in my own definition means to have the ability to balk pat and oercome any fear or event. I chose Martin Luther pansy junior because to me, he showed and defined the true characteristics of a heroic person. He stepped up to the plate to represent the people in every form and fashion from 1955-1968 against acts of segregation and injustice. MLK younger took a stand against these acts of inequality because he believed every man was created as and should also be treated equally. He was mainly know for his leadership of the Civil Rights Movement which began in 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. In this same year he was elected to become a member of the executive committee for the National Association for the aerodynamic lift of Colored People also known as the NAACP. MLK junior traveled everywhere within the United States of America where injustice, distinction and segregation took place to fight against those acts for the rig hts of the people. MLK Jr. lead the film director boycott in relation to the story of Rosa set down to cease segregated acts on every bus so that every passenger could sit wherever they pleased whether it was in the front or back of the bus. The boycott lasted for 10 dogged time from 1955-1965 in which Dr. Martin Luther top executive Jr.

was victorious in relieving the African American people of their rights to sit in the back of the bus.
